Xi Jinping opposees 'colour revolutions'
Samarkand: China's President Xi Jinping said on Friday that the west is trying to instigate some 'colour revolutions' which must be opposed collectively by partners such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Central Asian leaders.
In Samarkand, the city of ancient Uzbak Silk Road, a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) was held where Xi Jinping was present and he emphasized that foreign meddling must be deterred.
He further discussed supporting each other in mutual safeguarding of security and developmental interest and prevention of any kind of interference in the internal affairs of others.
