Today Army chief will receive an honour cordon

WASHINGTON: Today at the moment of arrival of General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the Pentagon, US Secretary of Defence Lloyd J. Austin is going to offer him an enhanced honour cordon. After this, an official meeting will take place.

The pooled press will be granted allowance to the event without any briefing. 

Chief of Army Staff will meet some US officials that's why he is in Washington. After a series of meetings, Gen Bajwa is expected to leave for home on Wednesday.
