Two planes were delivered to Al-Jawiya Air Base on April 19, 2023, aboard an Iraqi Air Force C130 Military Transport Aircraft. This delivery is part of a 2021 contract between the two countries for the supply of 12 MFI-395 Super Mushshak aircraft, valued at $33.3 million. In addition to the planes, the delivery included some logistics materials for the Iraqi Air Force. The Super Mushshak is an advanced version of the MFI-17 Mushshak aircraft, which was developed by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex over the Swedish Saab's MFI-15. Pakistan began producing the MFI-395 Super Mushshak in 1995, and it is currently used by several countries, including Azerbaijan, Iran, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.

The Super Mushshak is a versatile aircraft with impressive specifications. It boasts a Textron Lycoming IO-360-A1B6 engine that delivers 200 horsepower and a maximum take-off weight of 1200 kilograms. With a curb weight of just 646 kilograms, it can fly at a speed of 236 kilometres per hour and reach a maximum speed of 365 km/h. The aircraft can stay in the air for up to 5 hours and 10 minutes and is capable of manoeuvring with a G limit of +6 to -2. It has a wingspan of 8.85 meters and a length of 7.2 meters and can accommodate a crew of two.

In 2017, Pakistan signed a contract to supply the Turkish Air Force with 52 Super Mushshaks. The first delivery was made on October 31, 2022, and the first three aircraft were put into service at Yalova Airport Command. In addition to its impressive speed and endurance, the Super Mushshak is equipped with various weapon systems, including 7.62 rifle pods, wire-guided anti-tank systems, and unguided rocket pods, which can be attached to its six loading points. With these capabilities, the Super Mushshak is a valuable asset for any air force.
