CPEC is the view of changing the International picture view
Karachi: While accepting the plan of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the planners of this superb and gigantic project had comprehensively reflected the changing regional and global landscape in the 21st century. This enormous project was perceived as a fusion for the best developments at multiple levels, globally, regionally, bilaterally, and domestically. As an important part and as the pioneer of Chinese Belt and Road Initiatives (BRI), the CPEC had huge global connections. Its absolute timely completion as per the plan requirements will boost up the other corridors of the BRI in the future. Additionally, it will connect various regions of Asia, brick the way for global connectivity. Through a regional approach, CPEC will connect Afghanistan with Pakistan, paving the way for connecting the country of Pakistan with the Central Asian region. The landlocked region of Central Asia requires this type of connectivity for the true realization of their trade hub in between energy-efficient and energy-deficient states of the Asian Continent.

In this CPEC project, there was an understanding that China will shift its own labor-intensive industry to Pakistan. Therefore, under this rather circumstances the major challenge Pakistan is facing to provide a well-trained and skillful workforce in diverse areas to meet all the challenges and the needs of its growing industries, coming up in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and other projects all along the CPEC. Pakistan needs a strong connection between the market, and the needs of graduate skills. Pakistan has faced an acute shortage of institutes of technology and vocational training institutes.
The world has come to know that CPEC is a unique project, having the potential to transform Pakistan economically, politically, and strategically not only in the region but also at the global level now. So understanding the Chinese philosophy of development encompasses the main theme of people-centric development is a great learning and it is obvious that a real experience for the government of Pakistan and its people.
